I was an Canadian arty gunner during this period and lived through the anxiety of this time focused on spending my life as a part of the Canadian commitment to Norway’s defense.
That the era has faded from my great fears, does not erase my fascination with the possibilities. I look forward to this treatment of the potential conflict with great anticipation.
Maybe the counter representing my regiment won’t disappear under the waves before firing a round in support of my cardboard comrades.

I presume you’re referring to 5me Artillerie Legere Regiment…..it’s embedded in CAST brigade, scheduled to depart from Canada at D+12. You should have the chance to fire some rounds!
